two trades.
Software is what we do. Retail is how we keep our feet on the ground — and how we test everything we build.
Softilo is a UK-based technology and e-commerce business. Our main work is software development, IT consultancy and related technology services for other businesses, and the software products we build and sell ourselves.
Alongside that we run a general online store selling authentic products from reputable brands — Italian food and drink, pet accessories for the UK and European markets, electronics, health and fitness products, clothing and everyday essentials — through our own website and on marketplaces like Amazon and eBay.
The shop gives us steady cash flow and a direct relationship with customers. It’s also a working laboratory: the platform, the stock sync and the checkout are built and run by the same team that builds software for our clients.
Over time we plan to grow into a group of specialised brands, each with its own name and focus, sharing the same technology, warehouse and standards.

- Every external service sits behind an adapter with a working stand-in, so the whole system runs and is tested without live keys.
