Privacy notice

[Softilo Ltd] is the controller for personal data collected through this website. This notice covers the group website only; the Softilo Store and each of our products have their own privacy notices.

What we collect

• What you send us through the contact form or by email: your name, email address, company, and your message.
• Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested), kept for up to 30 days for security and to fix faults.

What we don’t do

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies and doesn’t track you across other sites. We don’t sell or share your details for marketing.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details to reply to you and, if we work together, to prepare a proposal. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

We keep enquiries that don’t lead to work for up to 24 months, then delete them. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires (usually six years for accounting).

Who processes it

Our email and hosting providers process data on our behalf under contract. Some may be outside the UK; where they are, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@softilo.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
